Furnace Tune-Up & Inspection

1. Check thermostat, level, and calibrate.
2. Check furnace filter, clean or replace
3. Check low voltage wiring connections.
4. Check line voltage wiring connections.
5. Check ground on furnace.
6. Check igniter
7. Check burner box for rust, corrosion or soot.
8. Check for carbon monoxide.
9. Check ignition and combustion of burners.
10. Check flame sensor.
11. Check operation of inducer motor assembly.
12. Check all limit and safety switches.
13. Check blower motor and assembly.
14. Check amperage of blower motor.
15. Check condition of condensate line trap.
16. Check venting system.
17. Check burner alignment.
18. Check and adjust temperature rise (low/high fire).
19. Check accessories (air cleaners, humidifiers, UV lights).

A/C Tune-Up & Inspection

1. Blower Motor – Measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
2. Thermostat – Test for proper operation, calibrate, and level
3. Cleaning Existing Air Filter (as needed)
4. Bearing – Inspect for wear and lubricate
5. Inspect indoor coil if accessible
6. Confirm proper return air and size
7. Inspect condenser coil
8. Refrigerate – Monitor operating pressures
9. Safety Devices – Inspect for proper operations
10. Electrical Disconnect Box – Inspect for proper rating and safe installation
11. Electrical Wiring – Inspect and tighten connections
12. Test/inspect contactors for burned pitted contacts
13. Inspect electrical for exposed wiring
14. Inspect and test capacitors
15. Inspect the condenser fan blade
16. Clean the condenser coil and remove debris
17. Inspect ductwork for energy loss
18. Compressor – Monitor, measure amperage, volt draw, and wiring connecting
19. Inspect all fittings for signs of oil and/or leakage
20. Check refrigerant lines and fittings with a refrigerant leak detector
21. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
